Why it's a must-try

Good Measure is a warm, timber-clad café and bar on Lygon Street, full of house plants and vintage furniture, that feels like a neighbourhood haunt in Japan. The drink that made its name is the Mont Blanc: a lightly sweetened Code Black filter brew under whipped cream, grated nutmeg and orange zest.

By day it pours coffee with sandwiches and pastries; after dark the records go on and it becomes a cocktail bar, with the espresso machines running until 8pm.
