Why it's a must-try

Cobre is a specialty café in Villa Crespo whose website says its baristas hold SCA certification. Filter coffee has its own section on the menu, brewed by V60, Chemex or AeroPress, and the site's "now brewing" board names the coffees in rotation, such as a Bourbon Rosado from Colombia, a Wush Wush from Ethiopia and a Geisha from Peru.

The kitchen does viennoiserie, chipa sandwiches and a brunch menu, so it works for a slow breakfast as well as a quick flat white. Bags of specialty coffee are sold at the counter.
