Why it's a must-try

Lattente opened in 2013, and Perfect Daily Grind dates the start of Argentina's specialty coffee movement to that opening: it was the first specialty coffee shop in Buenos Aires. More than a decade later it is still among the country's references, 12th in The Best Coffee Shops Argentina 2026.

This café on Thames, in Palermo Soho, is one of three Lattente shops in the city, with the others on Cerviño and Azcuénaga. Come here to drink coffee at the place where the city's specialty scene started.
