LAB is one of the roasters that started specialty coffee in Buenos Aires, and in 2025 it made The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops. Everyone sits at one long bar facing the baristas, so it is easy to ask about the coffees, which LAB roasts itself; its shop names farm lots such as La Marianela and La Catalina from Colombia.

The team also makes bean-to-bar chocolate and runs courses for home brewers and professionals. Order a filter, or the coffee kombucha if you want something different.
