Why it's a must-try

Walden is a small specialty café on Gurruchaga, in Villa Crespo, whose menu starts with coffee: espresso, doppio, a double ristretto with milk called the magic, flat white, and iced versions of the classics. Its house bean is a washed Colombia Supremo from Huila, Caturra and Castillo grown at 1,500 metres by small producers, scored 83 on its own cupping card, with notes of panela, ripe stone fruit and milk chocolate.

The same coffee is sold in 250 g bags. Sourdough toasts, cookies and a cinnamon roll fill the rest of the menu.
