Why it's a must-try

Andersen & Maillard opened on Nørrebrogade in 2018 as a coffee shop and roastery, and it roasts in house. Its coffees name the producer and the process, such as a washed Pacamara from Sigfredo Corado's Los Angeles farm.

When the Anders Husa guide visited, the bar poured a natural and a washed Ethiopian from the same farm side by side as pour-overs. It is just as known for its pastries, so expect a queue for croissants. A second coffee shop with its own bakery is on Ny Østergade in the centre.
