Impact Roasters is a cooperative roaster that buys Ethiopian coffee from small farms in the south of the country and roasts it in Copenhagen. Its café on Holmbladsgade in Amager is a neighbourhood spot where you can take your coffee to go or stay, try different brewing styles and buy beans for home. Barista Magazine calls it a safe bet for Ethiopian coffee. The other cafés are on Valby Langgade, at Valby and Flintholm stations, in Carlsberg Byen and inside Café Buenavista in Nørrebro.

Nordic Roasting Co. is a roastery and café in one on Uplandsgade in Amager, in a part of the city few visitors reach. Barista Magazine describes its coffees as clean and complex. The single origins name the producer, such as Wilton Benitez's Pink Bourbon, and the roastery also runs barista classes and coffee workshops. Beans, brewing gear and coffee machines are for sale.

Coffice is a co-working coffee bar inside Prismen, the culture and sports centre on Holmbladsgade in Amager. It brews coffee from ROAST, including pour-overs on an Origami dripper, and sells the beans. Elias Egholm, who used to work at ROAST, runs the bar, and Barista Magazine describes him as the warmth of the neighbourhood. There is plenty of seating outside in the sun and tables inside. It is closed on Fridays.
